What to expect

You will build and maintain the bridge between our research and product implementation. You will own our core python library, redesigning it from the ground up, implementing new functions as they arise, and ensuring compatibility between our algorithms and the front-end product. You will work closely with the research and product team to ensure smooth, up-to-date implementation of our interpretability methods - in return for a competitive salary, meaningful equity, and the opportunity to move the needle on AI interpretability in the real world.

We’re based in London and San Francisco, and expect this role to be primarily based in London – with some flexibility.

The Ideal Candidate

Has experience demonstrating their ability to:

• Collaborate with Researchers and Engineers: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to define project requirements and goals. Your role will involve bridging the gap between theoretical research and practical application.
• Develop and Implement AI Systems: Utilize your expertise to design, develop, and refine AI algorithms. You will be responsible for turning our research into robust machine learning solutions.
• Deploy in Production Environments: Ensure that the AI solutions are scalable, maintainable, and efficiently integrated into production environments. Your role includes not just development but also the deployment and maintenance of these systems.
• Problem-Solve and Analyze: Apply your analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems. You will be expected to provide solutions that are not only effective but also efficient and scalable.
• Stay Updated and Innovate: Keep abreast of the latest developments in machine learning and AI. You will be encouraged to innovate and contribute ideas that can improve and advance our projects.
• Design Efficient Systems: Implement and maintain best practices for scalable software development, code documentation, and version control.
